Metamorphosis

To be honest, at first I barely even wanted to go to the Prefect's Disco - last year wasn't that great, and getting a costume seemed like so much effort!

Then I realised that I only had a week left to put together a costume, and given how full my to-do list was anyway, that inspired a bit of panic.

Then I discovered James was going as Ursula. Since that's going to be the most amazing costume ever, I figure it's worth going to the disco to see it. So at that point, I wanted to go, needed a costume, and was panicking more. Well no, not really panicking. More like acknowledging the fact that that could be a problem. I don't really panic in general...

But that's going off on a tangent (just like Jordan's punny personal statement).

So by now I actually have a costume! I'm going to be Jasmine from Aladdin!

Although, truth be told, my outfit doesn't look anything like that, it's just Arabic. Sort of.

Oh, and I need some sort of hairband thing, preferably elastic. And some blue eyeshadow. But I mostly have a costume now, so... yay?

PS - I'm bringing a magic carpet, not a bird.
